Call for help: The cardboardboxes need to be painted white in a roughly way.
Maybe someone is musically and wants to make some music for this show's opening? Let me know. Poetry? Let me know. It will be grand!!

(August 22nd, 2011)
This is getting annoying.... probably a postman is opening up my returnbooklets and worst of all: he/she keeps them. This time Carine Bassier got an envelope which was torn open and the returnbooklet wasn't in it anymore. I am really pissed, because it has happened before. Marc Ruiter also got a torn open empty envelope, while Agnes Frijlink got two returnbooklets in 1 torn envelope. Some blanc booklets also didn't make it to the participants. Crazy world!

Today i sent 37 blanc booklets to the new participants. I hope they will all make it safe and sound.

I received two booklets: Tineke van Steenbergen and Daisy Schoonjans.

(August 20th, 2011)
Some statistics: This website generated 152,8 MB datatransfer on august 20th. A site's record!

I had a fascinating talk with Connie de Graaf, participant in the project but also Gallerykeeper at KunstPostWijchen, about another showcase of the booklets. We agreed that this week we will get in touch again to eventually close the deal.

(August 19th, 2011)
A special day for this project:
- i went to Galerie 3G, Sittard to curate the first show of booklets. We(the gallery and me) had agreed upon 30 booklets. While curating w came up with the idea of using a third showcase.... now all the booklets are being shown!!! Great when a gallery thinks with their heart and mind. The gallery becomes an artist aswell. Great!!!
- the first japanese artist participates in the project.

Photographs have been taken for the article in tomorrows Dagblad De Limburger/Limburgs Dagblad.

Besides curating the show, i received 2 booklets (they made the show just in time!!):

The second booklet of Anne Brems (B) returned as well as the one by Renée Reijnders. Unfortunately she only made a cover, not a whole booklet.

(August 17th, 2011)
What i thought was going to be a really nice quiet and peaceful day, touring the Eiffel, Germany with some friends turned out to be the most hectic day of the project.

A journalist of the Daily: De Limburger/Limburgs Dagblad called to have an interview with me about the project and the exhibit of booklets at Galerie 3G.

Kunstenmarketing created a blog about the project and spread it on the wwww. which triggered 16 people to become new participants in the project!!!(see: Participants)

Time for me to call in the troops!!
I asked Ellen van Putten(organisor of Droomreis and many more artprojects in the Netherlands) to help me out. As of today she'll be co-hosting the Facebookgroup with me. By next week she's gonna make the blanc booklets.
I can no longer handle it on my own ! There's no more time left for me to make the returnbooklets.
The project has already become too big for 1 person to run it by himself. I am sure Ellen van Putten is a great asset to this project.

September 2nd, i will have a talk with 2 galleries to have an exhibit of the booklets. So keep your eyes on this newspage!!

Almost forgot to tell you that i received booklets from Pieter Zandvliet, Connie de Graaf and Wil Peerboom. Wil sent me his second booklet. He's a true original!!!

(August 16th, 2011)

I have made an appointment with another gallery to talk about a possible show of booklets. Saturday august 20th is set for a meeting.

(August 14th, 2011)
Today i had a talk with Galerie 3G, Sittard(Netherlands). Peter Widdershoven and i agreed upon a show of the returned booklets of the Project.
As of friday 19th, 2011 the show will open until november 2011. So half of August and the whole of september and october the show will take place.
30 returned booklets will be shown. Every day the gallery is opened, a page of every booklet will be turned. This way every day the gallery is open, another show of booklets will be seen!!!
